FULL TREATMENT INFORMATION
& AFTERCARE ADVICE
For all treatments, our therapists will provide you with feedback and advice on your skin type, suggest suitable products for you and advise you on how to look after yourself until your next treatment.

Holistically speaking, after care is not just about taking care of the area/s treated but looking after your WHOLE self.

In addition to specific after care advice relating to your treatment, we therefore recommend:
-
Drinking plenty of water as this helps hydrate you internally and externally hydrates the skin, hair and nails. Water is an essential part of maintaining a healthy body (we recommend 6-8 glasses per day).
• Eat a healthy, balanced diet – include at least five portions of fruit and vegetables. Look out for your nutrition.
-
Rest - get your beauty sleep. Those 8 hours of rest each night are paramount for cell repair and detox and much more.
-
Sunlight, Air & Exercise - be sure to get plenty of fresh air. Open your windows, sit out in the garden, or go for a walk. At least 30 mins a day will get you some exercise and Vitamin D.
-
Trust - Peace of mind. Make time to pray, meditate on positive things, read or just personal quiet time for you.
-

FACIALS

Facials are designed to keep your skin looking fresh and healthy.

Regular care and attention from a professional therapist helps people with all skin types and problems to improve the texture and condition of the skin.
Our facial treatment routines are broken down into sections which have specific benefits of for the condition and appearance of your skin, as well as muscle tone and blood circulation.
Our facial treatments include some or all of the below, depending on the package chosen:
-
Consultation - We perform a full consultation and assessment of the skin and facial condition for each new client. This allows us the opportunity to assess eligability for treatment and to create a suitable treatment plan. If there are any conditions which are unsafe for us to treat, we may refer you to your doctor.
-
Cleansing - All skin types benefit from thorough cleansing because the products we use and application techniques ensure the removal of materials that may block or damage your pores. It will remove particles of dust, makeup, natural secretions from the sebaceous and sweat glands, and all other impurities which can cause spots, and other skin conditions.
-
Skin Analysis - We take a closer more detailed look at your skin. Analysing the look and feel of all areas of the face. Here is where we determine your skin type. Your skin type could be: Normal (Balanced), Dry, Dehydrated, Oily, Combination, Sensitive or Mature.
-
Exfoliation - We use a gentle scrub to massage over the surface of the skin to remove the hardened, rougher outer layer of the skin any any dead skin cells.
-
Massage - Our massage is very relaxing and is designed to stimulate the blood flow and circulation in the face, neck and shoulders. It also improves the lymphatic drainage of the face, neck and shoulders which combats the signs if ageing and boosts the immune system.
-
Steaming - A gentle deep cleansing treatment suitable for most skin types. The process relaxes the skin and assists in the elimination of waste products by inducing perspiration and stimulating the blood and lymph circulation of the face.
-
Face Mask - The skin analysis results help us to create the correct mask for your skin type. Masks are generally natural clays which remove dirt, oils, and dead cells from the skin, leaving your skin feeling and looking smoothe.
-
Tone - A toner is used to remove any remaining dirt, oils or cosmetic residue from the skin, whilst also tightening the pores.

Moisturisation - Finally, we moisturise your skin, leaving you skin feeling and looking clean, healthy and refreshed.

-
Removal of Cuticles - Any excess cuticle will be removed from the nail bed.
